Mr Gov's Laundromat
Mr Gov's is a 24 hour self service laundromat situated in Torbay, Auckland. The brief was to create a unique take on a laundromat, one that would encourage people to say "Wow, that's a laundromat?" Finding new ways to design a very functional business, the branding also needed to compliment the award winning café next door - ultimately reflecting the quality offering of both stores in the block. The signwriting techniques played an integral part of design execution - we incorporated 3D routered, black gloss acrylics on mounts for the walls and fascia, and matt gold vinyl on the windows to really elevate the overall look.
